A day tank is an important piece of equipment that allows for a smaller quantity of chemical to be stored close to where it is needed, leaving the larger bulk of chemicals to be stored safely in a chemical storeroom.
When used as part of a chemical transfer system, a level sensor measures current fill levels and pumps are activated automatically to keep the tank chemical at a user defined level.
A high-level cut-off switch adds redundancy to prevent overfilling and a bund ensures that any overflow or leak is contained, as well as providing additional protection.
